• Improve Dimensional Performance: Enhance vehicle dimensional quality throughout the entire product lifecycle, from launch to sustained production.
• Lead PQ Build Objectives: Achieve superior fit & finish standards for final vehicle assemblies during pre-production builds.
• Manage KPIs: Track and optimize internal/external dimensional metrics like G&F PIST, BIW PIST, Cp/Cpk, 3MIS, PDI, CQI, and Craftsmanship audits.
• Develop Critical Characteristics: Create and manage lists of key product/process features, controlling geometry for flawless assemblies.
• Maintain Control Plans: Develop and sustain Dimensional Control plans for BIW, closures, and other critical systems.
• Validate Systems: Support validation processes for body geometry, proactively reducing variation in body shop operations (target Cp/Cpk >1.33).
• Review Suppliers: Inspect supplier parts to eliminate dimensional build issues at the source.
• Own Gauging Tools: Maintain Geo fixtures, Cubes, Ring gauges, and PCF for interior/exterior validation.
• Lead RCA Efforts: Guide cross-functional teams in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process standardization with suppliers.
• Analyze Data: Recommend gauging methods and perform in-depth analysis to resolve special/common cause problems.

Qualifications & Requirements
