The Sr. Engagement Lead, Incident Response Partner Services (Remote), is a pivotal role dedicated to overseeing forensic investigations conducted by CrowdStrike's trusted partners. In this position, you'll coordinate with CrowdStrike's incident response leadership, partner executives, and customers to deliver exceptional results during high-stakes engagements. Representing CrowdStrike, you'll protect organizations from diverse attackers, including ransomware, eCrime, and business email compromises. This remote role offers the chance to accelerate your skills in a fast-paced environment, mentoring partners on cutting-edge methods while ensuring alignment with our quality standards. As Sr. Engagement Lead, your core duties include overseeing partner-led incident response engagements, developing and tracking project tasks, and managing workflows to keep deliveries on track. You'll support partners in communicating technical findings to executives, train them on advanced threat hunting across vast datasets, and coach on forensics for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Additional responsibilities encompass reviewing reports for stakeholders like regulators and legal counsel, providing strategic recommendations to mature security postures, supervising projects, planning process improvements, and maintaining documentation. Effective coordination under outside counsel direction is essential.
Expect to liaise with cross-functional teams worldwide, ensuring scope alignment, objectives, and effort levels match customer needs. Your leadership will drive high-quality outcomes in pressure-filled scenarios.
Successful candidates bring team leadership experience in matrixed consulting, preferably in incident response. Key qualifications include prior investigations of targeted threats, project management expertise, managing external resources, and implementing technology projects. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are vital, alongside team management across divisions. You must demonstrate self-learning in fast-changing environments, attention to detail under pressure, and proficiency with project management tools. Experience in forensics, malware analysis, and staying current with vulnerabilities is highly valued. A background in information security or incident response, combined with mentoring abilities, positions you perfectly.
