Role Overview

As a Sr. Engineer, AI - AI Detection and Response (AIDR) at CrowdStrike in Sunnyvale, California, you'll architect and deliver scalable AI implementations for cybersecurity innovations. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days per week on-site, blending collaboration with flexibility. Leverage your expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud platforms like Azure to build AI agents that enhance threat detection and response. Key Technologies and Focus Areas

Dive into cutting-edge LLM concepts including RAG, AI Workflows, Agentic AI, AI Agents, and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Autogen, LlamaIndex, LangChain, MS Copilot Studio, and AWS Agent Core. Your work will prototype and productionize AI features on Azure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security in our Falcon platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll tackle complex challenges head-on:

• Understand requirements, research solutions, and design/architect scalable AI features with detailed documentation.
• Prototype rapidly, implement high-quality, performant production code in Python or Go, including unit and functional tests.
• Build and maintain dashboards to monitor AI feature efficacy, performance, and production metrics.
• Gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and improve for scale, incorporating enhancements as needed.
• Present problems, solutions, and product context clearly to internal teams and customers, driving adoption.

Qualifications & Requirements

We're seeking proven engineers with:

• 6+ years as a cloud app developer, including 4+ years building Generative AI apps and features on Azure Cloud Platform and MS Copilot.
• Expert knowledge of Python and/or Go, moderate to expert Kubernetes (K8s), and deep understanding of at least two cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
• Strong grasp of LLM concepts (RAG, AI Agents, Agentic AI) and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Proven ability to research, compare solutions, prototype, and deliver production-ready code.

Bonus Points: Experience in security companies, AI Security (securing AI applications), or close coordination with security products.
