Role Overview

As a Sr Engineer, Application Development and Maintenance in IND07, India, you will spearhead data modeling, data engineering, and full-stack development initiatives. This pivotal role focuses on building robust data pipelines, migrating legacy systems to GCP BigQuery, and ensuring seamless integration across multi-source data platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data engineering solutions and pipelines for high-impact analytics.
• Identify automation opportunities, conduct data discovery, and re-architect legacy database objects to GCP BigQuery.
• Collaborate to ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to security standards, including audits.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and participate in platform strategy evolution.
• Define database standards, execute design reviews, and implement data movement best practices.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs with API Gateway integration (Apigee preferred), leveraging OAuth2, JWT, and Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), stored procedures, views, partitioning, indexes, and hints.
• Hands-on with GCP BigQuery, data platforms, and large-scale implementations.
• Expertise in REST APIs, API gateways, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and documentation tools like Swagger.
• Experience with DevSecOps (CI/CD pipelines, Airflow, GitHub), Agile methodologies, and business-critical applications.
