Role Overview

As a Sr. Engineer, CICD DevOps on our TechOps CICD Federal team, you'll create tools to enhance automated workflows for deploying, managing, and supporting CrowdStrike's Production Services. This remote role focuses on architecting solutions for high-performing production deployments in a federal context. Ideal for engineers passionate about solving complex problems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. US Citizens on US soil only, with periodic background checks required.

Key Technologies

Work with Kubernetes (k8s), ArgoCD, FluxCD, Containers, Jenkins with JCASC, artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or Quay.io, Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), IaaS tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, scripting in Python, REST APIs, Groovy, and administration of Linux and Windows servers in hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll drive the backbone of our production services:

• Handle on-premise provisioning and administration for scalable infrastructure.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and FluxCD.
• Manage artifact repositories including JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or Quay.io.
• Leverage IaaS provisioning tools like Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet for efficient deployments.
• Ensure proper monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery of critical services.
• Script automation with Python, REST APIs, and Groovy in hybrid Linux/Windows setups.
• Document processes and procedures to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale production environments.
• Proven expertise in the listed technologies and hybrid server administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with local and remote teams.
• Attention to detail, timely decision-making, and prioritization in fast-paced settings.
• Self-learning initiative and a security mindset with cybersecurity principles understanding.
