Role Overview

As a Sr. Engineer, Language & Runtime - LogScale, you'll join the LogScale Search team in Aarhus, Denmark, driving the scalability of our next-generation SIEM (NG-SIEM) systems. Handling over 100 PB of event and action data daily, with up to 10 years retention and millions of queries per hour, LogScale is central to making security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection, response, threat hunting, and Falcon platform use cases. In this senior role, you'll develop new features, optimize existing ones, and tackle hard engineering problems in a distributed, autonomous team passionate about delivering a fast, reliable, best-in-class log storage solution.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, bring a passion for distributed systems and a curiosity about live system performance. Required qualifications include:

• 8+ years of software development experience, balancing short-term delivery with long-term goals.
• Experience in language or compiler design, with fluency in functional and object-oriented programming, and adaptability to new languages.
• Broad technical leadership in products/services, with a demonstrated track record of operational excellence across multi-region, multi-component services.
• A can-do attitude, thriving in teams, embracing responsibilities, and articulating technical concepts crisply to peers and management.

Bonus points for Scala expertise, commercial cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kafka, large-scale architecture (1T+ requests or 10PB+ data/day), or log management/cybersecurity exposure.
