Key Responsibilities

• Joining project teams for product improvements and new developments, influencing design with a focus on endpoint sensors.
• Creating and updating threat models using methodologies like STRIDE to guide security decisions.
• Reading and reviewing source code for vulnerabilities, going beyond automated tools for deep analysis.
• Simulating hacker attacks on endpoint applications, including kernel components, primarily pre-production.
• Collaborating with developers to explain risks, weaknesses, and solutions, while building tools and automation for efficiency.
• Validating bug bounty reports and proactively hunting similar issues across applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, bring proven expertise in:

• Programming in or assessing security of C/C++ applications on Windows, Linux, or Mac.

• Comfort with concurrency in multi-threaded environments.
• Knowledge of security implications in containerization and virtualization.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps software development cycles for seamless collaboration.
• Solid knowledge of common software weaknesses (e.g., CWE) in endpoint and client/server apps.

Bonus points for C/C++ & Go programming, debuggers like Ghidra or IDA Pro, threat modeling experience, app pen testing, reverse engineering, or malware analysis. Strong collaboration skills are essential—challenge assumptions and drive context across teams.
