The Sr. Engineer, Software Assurance - Product Security (Remote) role is pivotal in fortifying CrowdStrike's products against advanced threats. Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. Engineer, you'll drive security excellence across the engineering organization:

• Assess risks and deliver security guidance to engineers on systems and software implementations.
• Design and implement tools/processes to secure and monitor software build pipelines, including code signing.
• Harden open source code usage, development, and distribution practices.
• Investigate systems and applications to enhance overall security posture.
• Advocate for best-security practices throughout the engineering org.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-cutting security initiatives for the software supply chain.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you'll bring proven expertise in security engineering:

• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting security systems.
• Proficiency securing Linux/Unix-like systems.
• Strong skills in scripting languages like Python, Golang, shell, or JavaScript.
• Deep knowledge of networking, SDLC, secure coding, system hardening, and build pipelines.
• Working experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Track record leading large, cross-team projects.
• Familiarity with TLS, ciphers, software signing, and PKI.

Bonus Qualifications

Stand out with experience in monitoring tools (LogScale, Splunk), GitHub/BitBucket admin, Artifactory/S3, cloud platforms, Groovy pipelines, REST APIs, and large-scale operations. Self-motivation, remote communication skills, and a passion for proactive security are key.
