Role Overview

As a Sr. Frontend Engineer on the Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) Team in Bucharest, Romania (hybrid), you'll build globally distributed, robust, customer-centric solutions. The CAO team unites Falcon® Intelligence and Falcon OverWatch™ threat hunting to disrupt adversaries and raise their operational costs. Leveraging trillions of telemetry events from the Falcon platform, we detect, disrupt, and stop threats with unmatched speed and impact. You'll deliver high-quality user experiences for 24/7 global use, pushing web platform boundaries with massive data in evergreen browsers. Our stack centers on Ember.js, but React, Angular, or Vue experience transitions seamlessly. Thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, remote-first environment focused on user needs in dynamic cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Development

Engineer single-page applications using Ember.js, ensuring scalable, performant UIs for counter-adversary tools.

Technical Leadership

Leverage expertise to guide engineering decisions, product direction, and design, owning delivery from architecture to stakeholder coordination.

Tooling and Optimization

Initiate and build developer tools, write automated tests, and optimize UI performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Designers, Researchers, QA, and Product Managers to solve complex problems.

Continuous Learning

Stay ahead of cybersecurity evolutions while having fun tackling hard problems in a supportive team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Core Technical Skills

Strong JavaScript proficiency and experience crafting web UIs with Ember, React, Angular, or Vue. Mastery of HTML/CSS, including Sass/PostCSS and Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with testing via QUnit or Mocha, Git workflows, and accessible interfaces.

Soft Skills & Mindset

Collaborative spirit, user sensitivity, and passion for quality software in high-stakes environments. Comfort with client-side builds (Ember CLI, Webpack), graphics (D3/Three.js), AWS, UI optimization, or cybersecurity a plus.
