Role Overview

As a Sr. Intelligence Analyst - Iran Mission (Remote) within CrowdStrike Intelligence, part of our Counter Adversary Operations, you'll join the Global Threat Analysis Cell (GTAC). This critical role focuses on tracking targeted intrusion activities from Iran-nexus adversaries. You'll research and report on cyber operations at strategic and tactical levels, delivering unique insights through finished intelligence products that protect our customers. Operating remotely, you'll collaborate in a close-knit team environment, leveraging CrowdStrike's Falcon platform for unparalleled visibility into adversary behaviors. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll proactively hunt for and analyze cyber threats emanating from Iran-nexus actors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and tracking targeted intrusion threats, trends, and developments through raw intelligence analysis.
  • Applying rigorous analytic tradecraft to intelligence data consistently.
  • Hunting adversary network infrastructure and triaging malicious file samples.
  • Conducting intrusion and attribution analysis to uncover threat actor tactics.
  • Producing high-quality finished intelligence reports for internal and external stakeholders on tight deadlines.
  • Collaborating across teams to share insights, fill intelligence gaps, and coordinate tracking efforts.
  • Providing peer reviews, briefings via video, webcast, or in-person, and responding to customer RFIs.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a Sr. Intelligence Analyst - Iran Mission, you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence and cybersecurity, with a focus on state-nexus cyber operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of research tradecraft, analytical methods, intrusion analysis, networking fundamentals, CND operations, host-based forensics, and network traffic monitoring.
  • Exceptional analytic writing skills for producing finished intelligence on short deadlines and long-term assessments.
  • Ability to independently track adversary tradecraft trends and technical tools used by threat actors.
  • Familiarity with geopolitical issues impacting the cyber threat landscape.
  • Undergraduate degree in cyber intelligence, computer science, intelligence studies, security studies, political science, international relations, or equivalent military/training experience. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
