Key Responsibilities

As Sr IT Support Engineering Associate, you'll drive operational excellence through hands-on technical support and coordination.

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, O365, Teams, Zoom, and mobile devices using onsite and remote tools, adhering to SLAs and ticketing processes.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade systems, applications, and hardware while troubleshooting complex issues.
• Coordinate with regional Site Support technicians to enforce policies, procedures, and escalate issues to management.
• Partner with business leaders to identify IT challenges, prioritize needs, and communicate updates up the chain-of-command.
• Document resolutions, ensure timely ticket completion, and support launches of new technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Gilead seeks candidates with proven IT support experience in dynamic business settings, ideally in life sciences.

• High School Diploma with 5+ years, Associate Degree with 4+ years, Bachelor's with 2+ years, or Master's in relevant IT experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Windows and Mac OS environments, plus mobile device support across OS types.
• Proven track record as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support, or IT Help Desk Technician.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual required) with strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with O365 suite, configuration, testing, business process engineering, or project management is a plus.
• GMP or regulatory industry background highly valued.
