In this pivotal role, you'll ensure seamless operations in our battery lab through expert troubleshooting and execution. Here's what you'll do daily:

  • Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance, including observing equipment, locating root causes, dismantling devices, and replacing defective parts.
  • Examine components for imperfections, adjust functional parts, and test electrical circuitry and mechanical systems for peak performance.
  • Independently source parts, supplies, and repair items to minimize downtime.
  • Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and perform welding tasks to fabricate and repair parts.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) activities, focusing on processes, results, and cost savings.
  • Maintain 5S housekeeping standards, update maintenance records, and review history for proactive care.
  • Work on HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems while providing assistance to fellow technicians.
  • Complete on-the-job training and self-study programs for ongoing career development.
  • Ensure situational awareness, identify unsafe conditions, and comply with all safety policies.
