Key Responsibilities at Rivian
As a key leader in Rivian's Autonomy organization, you'll spearhead initiatives that bridge hardware, software, and data operations. Core responsibilities include:
- Lead strategic planning and implementation of scalable, reliable data collection and prototyping systems (hardware + software)
- Define and track KPIs for continuous improvement in data acquisition and prototyping efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Autonomy stakeholders to meet stringent data quality, volume, and diversity requirements
- Optimize end-to-end data pipelines from vehicle sensors to ML training consumption
- Ensure robust data governance with validation processes guaranteeing integrity and security
- Drive prototyping from concept to deployment, managing in-house labs and vendor partnerships
- Manage budgets and resources for fleets, labs, and equipment procurement
- Mentor and lead technical teams, fostering technical excellence and best practices
