Role Overview

The Sr Manager, Facilities Operations role at Gilead Sciences in Uxbridge is pivotal in evolving our facilities management into a strategic regional business partnership. Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership

Develop and evolve strategic relationships with site leadership teams, aligning Corporate Operations with business growth drivers. Coordinate services including Security, Environmental Health & Safety, Workplace Design, Engineering, Employee Experience, Real Estate, and Leasing. Lead rolling 3-year site strategic plans informed by headcount forecasts, usage data, lease events, and business insights. Act as liaison for cross-functional projects and crisis management, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Employee Experience and Insights

Implement user experience strategies to elevate on-site experiences for Gilead's workforce and visitors. Collaborate with senior leaders to optimize site experiences using user needs, business goals, and industry best practices. Proactively gather feedback through engagement, data trends, and benchmarking to refine programs. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while staying ahead of industry trends via conferences and networks.

Site Operations

Guide stakeholders through Corporate Operations horizons, partnering with Real Estate, EH&S, and Security. Strengthen governance with outsourced facilities partners via KPIs and metrics. Ensure compliance with UK laws on property, taxes, health, safety, and mandatory roles, maintaining an audit-ready state. Manage regional budgets with accurate forecasting and reporting in collaboration with finance.

Qualifications & Requirements
