The Sr Manager, IT Business Analysis position, focused on Value & Access Capability Lead, is a pivotal leadership role within Gilead's IT organization. Reporting to the Value & Access IT Director, this role serves as the technical lead for the US Value & Access team. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Market Access Operations, US Commercial Legal, Internal Audit, IT Vendor Management, IT Risk & Controls, and Finance. This position demands forward-thinking innovation to build and implement technologies that support business scaling. As the go-to expert for all Value & Access IT operational needs, you will handle onboarding, oversee managed service providers, and own IT processes for daily operations. In this role, you will advise IT and business leadership on opportunities enabled by the Revenue Management technology portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment of activities, budgets, and systems with business and IT strategies. Translate business strategies into defined, cost-effective IT projects. Deeply understand business processes, objectives, drivers, and regulatory landscapes to develop comprehensive project plans covering technical, process, training, and support aspects. Select optimal solutions and third-party partners, leveraging Gilead's existing IT toolset to maximize ROI. Drive alignment of the IT portfolio with innovation initiatives, negotiate between business and IT for pragmatic solutions, and own technical project execution to realize benefits and resolve issues promptly. Oversee resource allocation, deploy solutions on time and within budget, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Proactively identify technological solutions for business challenges, position technology as a competitive advantage, and enhance customer-facing processes through targeted recommendations.
Monitor projects to meet benefits, identify bottlenecks early, and secure internal/external resources to fulfill demands.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT business analysis, preferably in biopharmaceuticals or healthcare. Expertise in revenue management systems like Model N is essential, alongside proficiency in SaaS security assessments, IT risk management, and vendor oversight. Strong project management skills, including Agile/Scrum methodologies, are required. You must demonstrate a proven track record of leading cross-functional IT initiatives, translating complex business needs into technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with US healthcare regulations.
