Role Overview

As Sr Manager, Marketing Operations Omni-Channel Strategy Manager in Gilead Sciences Japan, based in Tokyo, you will lead omnichannel (OMC) approaches for the Inflammation portfolio. Reporting to the Inflammation Senior Marketing Director, this senior individual contributor role oversees digital communications, D2D events, and workflow management. You will drive OMC strategies aligned with tactical plans for RA, IBD, and future inflammation products, partnering with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Product Science Liaisons (OLL), Commercial Operations (ComOps), Medical Affairs (MA), co-promotion partners, and external vendors to achieve enterprise goals.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Sales Planning, and cross-functional teams to develop omnichannel and digital channel strategies tailored to business and customer needs.
  • Develop metrics and measurement plans, deliver insights, and run PDCA cycles for ongoing optimization using internal/external data.
  • Track engagement metrics, assess impact, and explore optimizations through data, platforms, and technology, aligning with Gilead's broader efforts.
  • Gain insights into HCP information-gathering across channels, identify gaps, and ensure a cohesive experience with relevant content at the right time.
  • Manage D2D event logistics with internal stakeholders, co-promotion partners, and Japanese vendors, including vendor selection, performance evaluation, and issue resolution.
  • Improve event planning processes, revise SOPs, ensure regulatory compliance, and run PDCA cycles to measure effectiveness against KPIs.
  • Oversee cost-effectiveness, track Opex for OLL-driven events, and confirm cost-splits with partners, Finance, and admin teams.
