The Sr Manager, Sales Analytics & Operations position in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a pivotal leadership role within Gilead's commercial organization. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Lead, this role drives data-driven decision-making for the affiliate's sales teams. By leveraging advanced analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI, and data sources such as Veeva CRM, IQVIA, and Big Data, you will deliver timely insights that optimize performance, support brand planning, and enhance market strategies. This position also owns the Market Research agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives in the dynamic biopharmaceutical sector.
As Sr Manager, you will democratize analytics across the organization, provide field support for sales optimization, and manage vendor relationships to maximize ROI on data assets. This role demands strategic thinking, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to influence senior-level decisions.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of impactful insights from diverse data sources, ensuring tools are intuitive for commercial teams. Responsibilities include supporting annual brand planning by defining calendars and coordinating stakeholders, analyzing performance drivers, and designing repeatable analytical processes. You will own monthly/quarterly reporting cycles, collaborate with IT on system enhancements, and provide territory alignment recommendations. Additionally, manage incentive compensation accruals with FP&A, define productivity indicators, and offer continuous support to improve sales force effectiveness.
Own the Market Research agenda by prioritizing initiatives like ATUs, message recall studies, and customer journey analyses. Translate business questions into robust study designs, lead external agencies through the full lifecycle, and ensure compliance with governance standards. Deliver high-impact insights that inform strategies in HIV, oncology, and inflammatory disease portfolios.
Success requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in biopharma sales analytics. Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, Veeva CRM, and IQVIA data is essential. You should have expertise in market research methodologies, vendor management, and commercial operations. A track record of influencing decisions through data, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization is key. Advanced degree in business, analytics, or related field preferred, along with fluency in English and Portuguese.
