CrowdStrike is hiring a Sr. Manager, Sales Development for our hybrid role in Austin, Texas. In this pivotal leadership position, you'll guide a team of 4 SDR managers to drive pipeline generation for Corporate Sales teams. Thriving in a fast-paced, in-person collaborative environment, you'll oversee outbound and top-of-funnel activities to smash pipeline and sales targets. This hybrid position requires commuting to the Austin office 3 days a week, fostering strong team dynamics and cross-functional partnerships. If you excel in high-volume sales support and building high-performance SDR teams, this role at CrowdStrike is your chance to change the game in cybersecurity sales.
Lead your teams to over-achieve targets, delivering high-quality pipeline for sales. Oversee execution of sales development, including daily metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management. Foster a high-performance culture with clear objectives, standards, and accountability.
Engage directly with SDRs and managers, sharing best practices in outbound prospecting—phone, email, social outreach, and intent data usage. Coach, mentor, and motivate to build a revenue-generating team. Lead from the front in day-to-day operations.
Manage relationships with territory sales leaders and partner with marketing, operations, and campaigns for team support. Provide pipeline insights, lead quality analysis, and performance reports to leadership. Serve as a bench for Corporate Sales, supporting readiness programs and career growth.
Recruit, staff, and train to maintain territory coverage. Proactively handle performance or behavior issues at manager and rep levels. Assume ownership of open SDR Manager and SDR roles, reinforcing program initiatives.
To succeed as Sr. Manager, Sales Development at CrowdStrike, you'll need a BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Bring at least 3 years of experience managing frontline sales/SDR teams, with 1+ year of closing experience in technology preferred. Demonstrate a consistent track record of exceeding sales KPIs over multiple fiscal years.
Key traits include strong leadership presence, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a strategic mindset linking customer insights to SDR tactics. Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, 6Sense, and dashboards like Tableau or DOMO is essential.
