Role Overview

The Sr Manager, Supply Chain position in Cork, Ireland, is a pivotal leadership role within the GSIUC Planning group in the Materials Management department. This role focuses on executing supply planning processes for Gilead's critical product portfolio. You will partner with Global Supply Chain teams to receive and refine the Master Production Schedule (MPS), translating it into achievable plans that align with operations and meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of critical supply chain functions, ensuring seamless operations and uninterrupted patient supply. Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Global Supply Chain to receive, analyze, and provide feedback on the MPS, reaching consensus on feasible plans aligned with GSIUC operations.
• Managing inventory reporting and performance, including evaluation and remediation of low stock, obsolescence, and expiry risks to support supply and financial planning.
• Developing viable Master Production Schedules in Kinaxis to enhance product supply and network visibility.
• Escalating and remediating supply risks to maintain continuous patient access to therapies.
• Preparing product updates and participating in Site, Regional, and Global Sales & Operations forums.
• Supporting Budget and Long-Range Estimate (LE) processes with accurate demand and supply data.
• Incorporating new products, artwork changes, and capacity impacts through cross-functional partnerships.
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs related to MPS, performance to plan, and supply chain metrics.
• Utilizing data analytics and technology for actionable insights, efficiencies, and cost management.
• Contributing to long-term supply chain strategy focused on scalability and sustainability.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry knowledge:

• Primary degree in Business, Science, or Engineering; Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management desired.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification and APICS CPIM/CSCP certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in MPS, production planning, or related roles.
• Proven project/portfolio management experience, ideally in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environments.
• Deep knowledge of supply chain planning software such as SAP and Kinaxis RR.
• Strong ability to analyze business problems end-to-end, summarize insights, and rally cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, verbal/written communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated collaborative mindset, teamwork nurturing, and cross-functional influence.
