• Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) for laser welding process optimization to boost yield and throughput.

• Create engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, and detailed written descriptions.
• Maintain meticulous records of project build data at part and system levels, generating comprehensive reports.
• Design, fabricate, and modify prototype components and fixtures using advanced tools.
• Build and set up test rigs for mechanical and electrical testing across multiple teams.
• Organize lab space, maintain supplies, and provide suggestions for improved workshop protocols.
• Balance multiple tasks with a flexible schedule to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience with end-of-line testing, dyno controls, and testing scenarios (laser welding a plus).
• Deep understanding of materials weldability (steel, aluminum, copper) in similar/dissimilar applications.
• Proficiency reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google tools) and mastery of fabrication tools (mills, saws, drill presses).
• Strong communication, fast-paced teamwork, and commitment to shop safety and 5S principles.
