Role Overview

As a Sr. MDM Engineer at CrowdStrike (Remote, India), you'll lead our mobile device management (MDM) strategy and operations across a global enterprise. This critical role within our IT and endpoint engineering function positions you as the primary expert in VMware Workspace ONE, driving the design, deployment, and optimization of MDM and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions for iOS, Android, and other platforms. You'll ensure mobile devices are secure, compliant, and productivity-enabling, collaborating with Security, IT, Compliance, and support teams. Key Responsibilities

• Own MDM and MAM platforms: Lead implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of Workspace ONE UEM, including policy enforcement, profile management, and compliance monitoring for CrowdStrike's mobile fleet.
• Secure mobile endpoints: Design policies for encryption, passcode enforcement, remote wipe, app whitelisting/blacklisting, and conditional access across iOS, Android, and more.
• Mobile Application Management: Package, deploy, and manage internal/third-party apps using Workspace ONE MAM, ensuring secure updates and reliability.
• Support mobile users: Provide expert troubleshooting for device/app issues, delivering seamless onboarding while meeting security goals.
• Integrate with IAM and security: Connect MDM to SSO (Okta), CrowdStrike Falcon endpoint detection, and mobile threat defense solutions.
• Policy compliance and reporting: Monitor compliance, create dashboards, and align with InfoSec and Audit requirements.
• Stay ahead: Evaluate emerging MDM tech, track OS updates, and improve strategies with global peers.
• Document and automate: Maintain processes and automate tasks via scripts or APIs.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as our Sr. MDM Engineer, you'll bring 5+ years of enterprise mobile device and app management experience, with strong expertise in Workspace ONE UEM (certification a plus). Key requirements include advanced knowledge of Omnissa Workspace ONE components, in-depth iOS/Android enterprise features like enrollment, supervision, managed apps, and compliance. Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Google Enterprise, and integrations is essential, alongside deep MDM/MAM policy understanding for security hardening, profiles, certificates, VPN, Wi-Fi, and conditional access. Hands-on experience with app deployment, OS/app troubleshooting, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Workspace ONE APIs), and cross-functional collaboration is required. Passion for balancing productivity and security in a remote-first environment is key.
