Role Overview

The Sr. Medical Science Liaison (MSL) position at Gilead Sciences is a field-based role covering Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Long Island in the United States. • Provide field insights on treatment practices and trends to strategy and competitive intelligence teams.
• Collaborate across functions like Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Marketing.
• Respond to clinical inquiries on marketed and developmental Gilead products, presenting complex data effectively.
• Identify and develop opinion leaders, recommend clinical trial sites, and support Phase IV programs.

Travel and Administrative Duties

Frequent travel to appointments, meetings, and conferences is required, often with short notice. You will also complete administrative tasks such as expense reports, interaction documentation, and required training modules while adhering to all pharmaceutical codes, OIG guidelines, and Gilead policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Sr. Medical Science Liaison at Gilead, candidates must meet these qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 10 years' experience, Master's Degree with 8 years' experience, or PhD with 2 years' experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP/PA) with pharmaceutical or healthcare experience. Minimum 3 years in a medically related profession, such as HIV treatment/prevention, with strong knowledge of clinical research, treatment landscapes, and guidelines.
