Inventory and Compliance Management

Maintain precise inventory control, oversee drug shortage management, expired inventory audits, and drug recalls. Conduct monthly documentation, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy (BOP) requirements, reporting issues and collaborating on resolutions.

Medication Distribution and Procurement

Procure and distribute medication orders accurately for physicians, pharmacists, and prearranged assignments. Fill orders, surgical kits, carts, stock requisitions, and automated dispensing refills while managing purchasing budgets aligned with GPO bids and forecasting patient demands.

Automation and Sterile Preparation

Coordinate pharmacy automation systems to boost efficiency and accuracy. Prepare intravenous admixtures and sterile preparations using aseptic techniques, garbing procedures, and work practices. Address complex automation issues, verify orders, and troubleshoot with patient care facilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Tennessee (mandatory).
