Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough design reviews using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 3D printing, prototyping, and integrate industrial design elements.
  • Produce detailed GD&T-compliant drawings and update SolidWorks models for accuracy.
  • Manage product lifecycle documentation in Arena, including new parts, assemblies, ECOs, supplier change requests, and comprehensive specs.
  • Develop and execute test methods for design validations, documenting results and presenting to cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with contract manufacturers to assess design or assembly changes, including travel for supplier visits.
  • Monitor installed base health, investigate issues, and recommend improvements to quality systems and processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of mechanical design engineering experience (preferred).
