Our remote-first culture empowers every CrowdStriker with flexibility and autonomy to own their careers, fostering innovation and a fanatical commitment to customers, community, and each other.

Role Overview

As a Sr. Release Engineer - Sensor Foundation in our Austin, Texas hybrid role (2-3 days in-office per week), you'll drive the release management lifecycle for our cutting-edge sensor technology within the Falcon platform. This operations-heavy position involves coordinating complex, large-scale engineering projects in a fast-paced environment. You'll manage builds, deployments, and post-release support across millions of endpoints on Windows, Mac, Linux, containers, and mobile platforms. Ideal for energetic professionals with a track record in data-driven decisions, deployment telemetry, and tooling improvements, this role is pivotal in delivering flawless releases that protect our customers from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll own the entire release process end-to-end, from initial build creation through production deployment and ongoing monitoring. Execute and manage release builds across multiple platforms, including validation and triaging test failures. Establish consistent release cadences, facilitate cross-department coordination, and develop automation scripts in Python or Go for seamless integrations. Track multi-platform calendars, inform global stakeholders of risks, and mitigate them proactively. Measure success with key metrics, define rollback mechanisms, and lead release blocker meetings to ensure efficient go-lives. Your work directly supports our mission to stop breaches at scale.

Daily Impact

Expect to handle concurrent releases, interpret test results, debug issues, and use tools like Splunk for telemetry insights. Occasional support outside business hours ensures our Falcon platform remains resilient against evolving threats.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive, bring experience in release management for software development, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket, and expertise in build systems troubleshooting. Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Python, and Go is essential, alongside Agile/Scrum knowledge. Demonstrate problem-solving for fast-paced multi-release scenarios, excellent communication for worldwide cross-functional teams, and meticulous attention to detail. Mobile release experience (Android/iOS) is a plus. We're seeking those passionate about deploying at scale across millions of endpoints with a data-driven mindset.
