The Sr. Route Salesman position in Hassa, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, is pivotal to PepsiCo's sales excellence in the Kingdom. This full-time role focuses on maximizing sales volume, minimizing stales, achieving distribution targets, implementing merchandising standards, collecting receivables, and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll operate from a sales vehicle, following standardized procedures to ensure consistency across KSA operations while providing market insights to uncover growth opportunities.
As a senior team member, you'll engage daily with supervisors for debriefings and training to elevate professionalism. Key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales vs. plan, call efficiency, stales control, and zero shortages define success, with consistent underperformance leading to disciplinary measures.
Sell the full PepsiCo portfolio to an assigned customer list, hitting agreed targets while keeping stales below benchmarks. Ensure service levels through approved call frequencies and daily route plans, reviewed in debriefings.
Perform daily/weekly vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness, and report defects promptly. Agree on order requirements daily, manage stock levels to prevent out-of-stocks, and execute supervisor-approved merchandising, coordinating with merchandisers as needed.
Deliver daily cash, cheque, and credit reconciliations with zero shortages. Report competitor activities during debriefs. Uphold grooming standards, safe driving, and all regulations.
To thrive as Sr. Route Salesman, bring proven customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic, strong interpersonal abilities, and analytical prowess. Experience in sales, preferably FMCG, a valid driving license, and commitment to high standards are essential. You'll undergo training to sharpen skills and align with PepsiCo's professional ethos.
