The Sr. Route Salesman position in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is pivotal to PepsiCo's sales excellence in the Kingdom. This full-time role focuses on maximizing sales volume, minimizing stales, achieving distribution targets, implementing merchandising standards, collecting receivables, and delivering superior customer service. You'll follow standardized operating procedures for consistency across KSA, while providing market insights to uncover sales opportunities. Daily debriefs with supervisors ensure alignment, and training enhances your professionalism.
As a senior salesman, you'll manage a route of key customers, driving PepsiCo's iconic brands into stores and homes. This hands-on role demands discipline, customer focus, and sales acumen in a fast-paced environment.
Sell the full PepsiCo product range to an assigned customer list, hitting agreed sales targets. Keep stales below supervisor-set limits. Deliver approved service levels through optimal call frequency and daily route adherence, reviewed in debriefs.
Conduct daily/weekly vehicle checks per procedures, maintaining cleanliness and roadworthiness. Report defects immediately. Agree on next-period orders daily and sustain customer stock levels to prevent out-of-stocks.
Execute supervisor-communicated in-store merchandising. Coordinate with merchandisers as needed. Share competitor activity and market intel during daily debriefs.
Reconcile cheques, cash, and credit sales daily with zero shortages. Uphold grooming standards and safe driving practices.
Success measured by sales vs. plan, positive calls/sequence vs. plan, stales vs. target, and zero cash/stock variances. Consistent underperformance triggers disciplinary action.
To excel as Sr. Route Salesman, bring proven customer service skills, strong communication, and interpersonal abilities. Excellent verbal/written English and Arabic are essential. Analytical skills aid in market insights and target achievement. A valid driving license, safe record, and physical fitness for route work are required. Experience in sales, preferably F&B, is ideal.
