As a Sr. SDET in the Falcon Security Cloud Runtime engineering team in Pune, India, you'll be a key leader building the most innovative cloud security solution. Falcon Cloud Security combines lightweight sensors on cloud workloads with a cloud component that aggregates telemetry, correlates threats across VMs, containers, and serverless functions, and delivers prioritized threat summaries. You'll design test infrastructure, automated tools, and suites for features extending Falcon's visibility, detection, and prevention in Linux, containerized, and Kubernetes environments. Work closely with development teams to ensure robust end-to-end functionality while participating in technical designs and reviews.
Provide technical leadership in the SDET team, focusing on private/public clouds, VMs, containers, and serverless. Develop automation infrastructure, build tools, drive test strategies, mentor engineers, and champion projects improving cloud runtime sensors.
Participate in best practices like secure coding, CI/CD, performance testing, and OS internals to ensure fast, reliable sensor code. Design and implement test strategies/suites for new capabilities, increasing automated coverage and release velocity/quality.
Work with distributed dev, release engineering, and multi-functional teams. Lead initiatives on containers/orchestrators security, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive timely, high-quality cloud sensor releases in environments like AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
9+ years hands-on SDET/test automation development. Strong Python, test frameworks, Linux fundamentals (system calls, resource management). Deep containers/Kubernetes knowledge, one+ cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware). C/C++/Go familiarity, Linux user/kernel apps experience.
Design flexible automation testbeds mirroring customer cloud nuances. Expertise in quality strategies: automation, manual, performance/scale testing. Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and collaborate across distributed teams.
eBPF for security/networking, cybersecurity knowledge, Windows/Mac OS, hypervisors/virtualization.
