The Sr. Security Researcher II (Hybrid, ISR) role in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a pivotal position within the CrowdStrike Cloud Content team, part of the Content Product Group. This hybrid role focuses on safeguarding cloud environments through cutting-edge detection and response capabilities. As a senior researcher, you'll conduct security research on cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, and emerging threats, translating insights into direct value for the Falcon platform. Work with vast datasets to enhance detections, influence product strategy, and stay ahead of novel attack methodologies. Collaborate with cloud security experts, researchers, and engineers across time zones to protect customer workloads in AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and containerized environments. Track the threat landscape to identify trends in cloud infrastructure security, threat actors, novel attacks, and vulnerabilities in cloud-native environments and workloads. Specialize in Linux security research, from low-level OS internals to high-level threat modeling.
Create sophisticated frameworks for threat identification and mitigation, emphasizing predictive analytics and proactive methodologies. Research threats in cloud providers, containers like Docker and Podman, and orchestration tools.
Partner with engineering, product management, detection engineering, and threat intelligence teams to integrate research into Falcon platform detections, boosting efficacy against evolving threats.
Share expertise through publications, conference presentations, technical blogs, and internal knowledge sharing, establishing CrowdStrike as a leader in cloud security.
