The Sr. Software Engineer - Application Analysis role (Hybrid, ISR) in Tel Aviv, Israel, places you at the heart of CrowdStrike's ASPM product. The static analysis team powers our automated reverse-engineering capabilities for arbitrary backend applications, delivering deep-code insights. As a key contributor, you'll design and build a powerful automated reverse-engineering engine, tackling unsolved problems in code analysis. Translate cutting-edge research and business needs into production-ready solutions. Ideal for engineers who thrive on complex challenges, drawing from multiple domains in a hands-on technical environment. Tech stack includes Go, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, and Linux.
Drive hands-on design and implementation of core components for the automated reverse-engineering engine. This involves architecting scalable systems that handle massive data volumes securely.
Conduct R&D on cutting-edge algorithms for deep-code analysis and data flow tracking, pushing the boundaries of static and dynamic analysis techniques.
Play a pivotal role in developing, designing, and optimizing the Falcon ASPM platform, ensuring high performance and reliability at scale.
Collaborate with team members to solve the most complex, novel technical challenges in cybersecurity.
Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from initial research and system design to production deployment and monitoring.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in high-level languages like Go. Proven track record as a top-tier engineer, delivering complex projects from research to production.
Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and system design skills. Deep experience in software research areas such as reverse engineering, malware analysis, algorithm development, and performance optimizations.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment.
Experience with code analysis tools including static code analysis, dynamic analysis, and data flow analysis. Bonus for modern backend software architecture.
