This Sr. Software Engineer II, Linux Sensor position within the CTIO team is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge innovation for our lightweight Linux sensor agent, a core component of the CrowdStrike Falcon Host platform. The Falcon Host sensor is a driver installed on client machines that monitors system activity, detects malicious behavior, provides on-box prevention, and streams telemetry to the cloud. Processing thousands of events per second, it offers deep endpoint visibility, rich correlation, and threat blocking. The cloud aggregates this data for prioritized threat summaries. In this hybrid role based in Redmond, WA (with options in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX), expect to be in the office at least 2 days per week. You'll own design and development of core features spanning OS subsystems like file systems, memory, processes, and networking, with shared components across Windows and macOS. Operating under Agile principles, the CTIO team ships frequently while driving the company's technology vision, engineering excellence, and alignment with business goals against emerging threats.
