As a Sr. Software Engineer - Linux Sensor, EPP Product (Hybrid) in Sunnyvale, California, you'll join the elite engineering team developing the CrowdStrike Falcon Host sensor—a lightweight Linux agent that delivers endpoint protection. This two-component security powerhouse includes an on-box driver observing system activity, detecting malicious behavior, providing prevention, and streaming telemetry to the Falcon cloud for threat correlation. You'll design and build core features spanning OS subsystems like file systems, memory, processes, and networking, with shared components across Windows and macOS. Operating in an Agile environment, the team ships frequently to combat evolving threats in real-time.
This role requires 2-3 days per week on-site in Sunnyvale, blending collaboration with CrowdStrike's remote-first flexibility for optimal work-life balance.
