Role Overview

The Sr. Specialist, Store Trainer Southeast NA position in Atlanta, Georgia, is a dynamic opportunity within Nike’s NA Direct Business Operations, Stores Training & Facilitation Team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Stores Training, you’ll serve as a key business partner to retail store districts, driving training excellence and retail performance. This role demands weekly travel to 1-3 districts, ensuring every store receives quarterly visits. You’ll create inclusive training environments grounded in trust, teamwork, and Nike’s Sport Offense strategy. Key Responsibilities

As a results-driven training leader, your impact will span store visits, partnerships, and innovative program delivery:

• Deliver expert training for 1-3 districts, conducting one visit per store quarterly to support 15-20 locations on average.
• Collaborate closely with Territory and District Partners, including Retail District Directors, to build trust-based partnerships through transparent communication.
• Guide training recognition, accountability, and coaching, addressing district challenges and goals.
• Foster relationships with Retail Brand Marketing and cross-functional partners to integrate brand activations and sports moments.
• Mentor, educate, and act as a change agent, equipping store teams with skills for sales growth and exceptional service.

Travel and Field Execution

Expect 30-50% domestic travel by airplane, car, or train, including overnights and weekends for store visits, Team offsites, conferences, and large-scale activations. Flexibility is key in this field-based role.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years in retail training, learning & development, or store leadership; athletic/lifestyle brand experience preferred.
• Proven facilitation of engaging group training and one-on-one coaching in fast-paced retail settings.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organization to manage multiple priorities across districts; proficiency in digital tools and LMS.
• Passion for sports, fitness, and Nike; flexible attitude with regular travel willingness.
• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus); valid U.S. driver’s license required.
