Key Responsibilities at Rivian

As Rivian's Sr. Staff ERP Analyst, Manufacturing, you'll spearhead business transformation. Key duties include:

• Act as Trusted Advisor to leadership, creating executable technology roadmaps using AI/ML for supply chain optimization.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, documenting process flows, functional specs, and training materials.
• Lead S/4HANA architectural governance for scalable PP/DS, MM, and IM templates.
• Design and implement SAP Plan to Produce (P2P) processes including Production Planning and PP/DS modules.
• Architect Digital Thread integrations between PLM (3DEXPERIENCE), SAP, and MES (Rockwell, PICO).
• Optimize planning capabilities: master data, complex BOMs, production versions, MRP Live, aATP, capacity planning.
• Establish global master data standards for Material Master, Work Centers, Recipes/Routings.
• Ensure integrations with MM, QM, APO, SCM for efficient data flow.
• Provide post-go-live support ensuring seamless production operations.

This role demands 15+ years SAP experience, positioning you at the forefront of Rivian's supply chain evolution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Rivian seeks proven leaders for this SAP PP/DS Architect role. Essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
• SAP certification in PP and/or PP/DS highly preferred.
• 15+ years SAP experience, including 5+ years leading S/4HANA in automotive/discrete manufacturing.
• 10+ years hands-on SAP PP and PP/DS configuration/implementation.
• Expertise in Complex Variant Configuration, iPPE, Make-to-Order/Stock, ETO, Knock Down Kits.
• Proficiency in PPDS, PDS, Rapid Planning Matrix, Finite Planning, MRP, MES integrations.
• Knowledge of discrete manufacturing: BOM, Routing, QM, EWM, Variant Config, Object Dependencies.

Nice-to-haves: Automotive assembly experience, EWM-APO integration. Techno-functional skills in SAP APO, R3 PP, costing/finance are critical.
