This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics, providing strategic partnership with senior leaders while executing technical solutions using modern stacks like Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, and emerging LLM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities at Rivian

• Partner strategically with Finance leadership to pinpoint data opportunities for efficiencies and real-time insights.
• Develop comprehensive data product strategies leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, SQL, Python.
• Lead hands-on implementation of data quality, governance, and compliance best practices.
• Manage and mentor high-performing teams in Data Engineering, BI, and Data Science.
• Oversee large-scale cross-functional projects, prioritizing roadmaps with executive stakeholders.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable technical data solutions.
• Train business users for self-service analytics using Tableau, Power BI.
• Drive AI/ML integration for advanced analytics in manufacturing Finance operations.
• Provide regular project updates and proactively resolve roadblocks.
• Become the go-to thought leader for data-driven Finance transformation at Rivian.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this Sr. Staff Product Manager, Enterprise Data role at Rivian, candidates must demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Science.
• Proficiency with modern data stacks: Datalake (Databricks, Snowflake), Data Engineering (Fivetran, DBT, SQL, Python, R).
• Expertise in Analytics tools: Tableau, Hex, Power BI.
• Strong passion for AI applications like LLMs in data challenges.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
• Deep knowledge of Finance processes, ideally in manufacturing/automotive.

Preferred: MBA/Master’s in Data Science; Automotive experience; Enterprise Data Governance implementation; Data modeling expertise.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $213,000 - $266,000 USD yearly for California-based applicants, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional incentives include:
