Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this senior technical quality control role, you'll apply your expertise to safeguard product quality at every stage:

• Conduct visual and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products/components/packaging to verify conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Make initial decisions on product or process conformance, escalating issues as needed.
• Audit and monitor quality requirements in line with Cardinal Health's Quality Assurance policies and customer specifications.
• Document and report inspection findings, results, and monitor corrective actions.
• Complete mandatory GMP training, issue resolution, and task-specific programs while adhering to documentation practices and proper gowning techniques.
• Observe and guide sanitary practice compliance throughout the facility.
• Examine and interpret production data trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with plant operations management to drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, compliance, and processes.
• Operate a variety of gauges, instruments, and inspection devices proficiently.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred).

• Working knowledge of roles outside your primary area and adherence to all quality guidelines.
• Experience with limited supervision, occasional output review by leads/supervisors, and providing technical assistance to junior staff.
