CrowdStrike stands as a global leader in cybersecurity, safeguarding people, processes, and technologies that power modern organizations. Since 2011, our unwavering mission has been to stop breaches using the world's most advanced AI-native platform, CrowdStrike Falcon. Serving customers across all industries, we ensure businesses run smoothly, communities stay safe, and lives progress without interruption. Our remote-first culture empowers every CrowdStriker with flexibility and autonomy to own their careers, fostering limitless passion, relentless innovation, and fanatical commitment to customers, community, and each other.

Role Overview

The Sr. Technical Marketing Manager - Cloud Security (Remote) role at CrowdStrike blends deep technical expertise with product marketing leadership. Reporting to the Director of Technical Marketing, you'll shape how we position and market our industry-leading cloud security platform, encompassing cloud workload protection (CWPP), container security, cloud detection and response (CDR), and cloud security posture management (CSPM). As a senior individual contributor on the Product Marketing team, you'll define messaging, craft technical narratives, and drive go-to-market (GTM) success. Your influence will boost product positioning, customer adoption, competitive win rates, and CrowdStrike's dominance in cloud-native security.

Acting as both technical SME and marketing partner, you'll produce demos, workshops, and content while aligning product capabilities with market-winning stories. Cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Engineering, Sales, Analyst Relations, and Enablement ensures technically accurate, resonant messaging for cloud architects, security engineers, DevOps teams, and C-level executives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Technical Demonstrations & Assets

Build and deliver compelling demonstrations of CrowdStrike Falcon's cloud security capabilities, tailored to GTM motions, use cases, and product lines. Create labs, workshops, demo videos, whitepapers, best practice guides, and enablement materials that accelerate adoption and showcase differentiation in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Shape Messaging & Positioning

Serve as the bridge between technical and product marketing, aligning capabilities with narratives and competitive strategies. Lead positioning, messaging frameworks, and launch strategies that resonate with technical buyers and executives.

Drive Thought Leadership & Content

Produce technical content including blogs, webinars, articles, and launch materials highlighting innovations in cloud-native security, container protection, and runtime security. Influence competitive positioning in partnership with Product Marketing.

Support Launches & Enablement

Contribute to launch planning, campaign development, and field enablement. Collaborate with Sales Engineering on sales plays and training to sharpen cloud security differentiation.

Engage Externally

Represent CrowdStrike at conferences, tradeshows, analyst briefings, and customer events as a technical SME and spokesperson. Support Analyst Relations with demos and briefings on cloud security trends.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you need 8+ years of cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure experience, ideally in roles like Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, Cloud Security Architect, Solutions Architect, DevSecOps Engineer, or Technical Product Marketing Manager. Deep expertise in cloud security is essential, including CSPM, CWPP, container security, Kubernetes security, CDR, runtime protection, and CIEM.

Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures like microservices, containers, and serverless is required. Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD security, IaC security, and shift-left strategies is key. Proven track record in creating complex technical demos, workshops, and enablement content for cloud security solutions, plus experience influencing product messaging, completes the profile.
