Key Responsibilities at Rivian

As a Staff Advanced Planning Solutions Engineer, you'll spearhead Rivian's supply chain transformation:

• Develop deep functional understanding of Rivian’s S&OP processes to enable Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) development and optimization.
• Master the data model and workflows in Rivian’s Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro) implementation, proposing strategies for better processes.
• Author and maintain complex workbooks and worksheets in Kinaxis per business requirements.
• Design and implement inbound and closed-loop outbound data integrations between Kinaxis and enterprise systems like ERP and PLM.
• Analyze, design, and develop integration architectures using Data Transfer Client or Kinaxis APIs for scalability and performance.
• Develop and maintain data transformation scripts within Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro).
• Define and manage role-based user/group accesses to streamline S&OP processes.
• Implement processes to manage multiple Kinaxis environments, including package deployments and upgrades with Kinaxis collaboration.

Work cross-functionally to reframe supply chain challenges and deliver innovative solutions that power Rivian's growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a Supply Chain Planning Solutions Engineer at Rivian, you need:

• 7-10 years hands-on experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro), O9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, or equivalent – authoring workbooks, system architecture, data models, integrations, and scripts.
• Strong functional understanding of S&OP processes and overall Supply Chain domain knowledge.
• Collaborative ability across organizational units to define processes and solutions.
• Inquisitive mindset that challenges the status quo and asks 'why'.
• Good understanding of Database Query/SQL and Planning Data Quality Management.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
