This role supports Rivian's critical Electrical Distribution System (EDS) Engineering team, designing custom AI-powered application suites to boost productivity for 30+ engineers.

The core mission? Launch an AI Executive Assistant using agentic and generative AI technologies. This tool will streamline operations, provide real-time workload insights to management, and scale across Rivian. You'll tackle four key areas: Design Change Management, Costing, Supplier Integration, and build a Live Status Tool for tracking all engineering concerns.

EDS is the backbone of Rivian's Zonal/Electrical Architecture—miles of wiring, 8,000+ components, and 30 wire harness assemblies. Own the full stack from ReactJS/TypeScript frontend to AWS/Python/PostgreSQL backend, integrating with Siemens Capital Suite and Rivian's enterprise apps like Campfire and Basecamp.

Key Responsibilities at Rivian

• Develop and deploy agentic and generative AI applications as an AI Executive Assistant for Design Release Engineers (DREs).
• Build bespoke web apps for design change management, costing, supplier communication, and live status tracking.
• Create real-time dashboards showing engineer workload, issues, forecasted changes, and release timelines.
• Design full-stack solutions with ReactJS/TypeScript frontend and AWS/Python/PostgreSQL backend.
• Integrate with Siemens Capital Suite and Rivian tools (Campfire, Basecamp, Fusion) for seamless cross-platform functionality.
• Establish engineering operations roadmap for continuous optimization of release processes.
• Lead end-to-end project ownership: timelines, resources, milestones, testing, and releases.
• Collaborate with QA, Product Management, UI/UX, and EDS teams for feedback-driven improvements.
• Apply automation and continuous improvement principles to reduce non-value-added tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Staff Full Stack Engineer at Rivian, bring 5+ years of experience in full-stack development. Key requirements include:

Salary & Benefits
