Key Responsibilities at Rivian

In this role, you'll join a highly capable team pushing the limits of power electronics for EVs. Key responsibilities include:

• Design industry-leading power electronic conversion units optimized for Rivian's adventure vehicles.
• Evaluate and validate subcomponents for traction power inverters to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Support characterization and test activities under senior engineers, accelerating development cycles.
• Design circuit cards for traction power inverters, from schematics to layout.
• Test traction inverters rigorously in lab, dyno, and vehicle settings.
• Analyze circuits using Spice, Mathcad, PLECS, and other simulation tools for optimal performance.
• Debug issues and solve complex problems in high-voltage power systems.
• Collaborate on power electronics topologies, semiconductors, inductors, transformers, and capacitors.
• Characterize power devices through simulation, testing, and validation.
• Contribute to gate driver and controller circuit designs for traction inverters.

Qualifications & Requirements
