Key Responsibilities at Rivian

As a Staff Software Engineer, Data Ops, you'll drive Rivian's data infrastructure forward:

• Lead infrastructure services: Build, test, and release complex mission-critical services for ADAS on cloud and on-prem.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering, ML/Dev/Data Ops.
• 5+ years scaling production infrastructure.
• Deep AWS experience: Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, S3, Lambda, EKS, ECS, RDS, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail.
• 5+ years IaC with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CDK.
• 5+ years monitoring via Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus; debugging production issues and RCA.
• 3+ years Python, Go, Java, GitLab for automation.
• 2+ years CI/CD, GitOps (GitLab, Jenkins, Allure).
• 2+ years microservices on EKS, ECS, Docker Swarm.
• Bonus: Linux internals, networking, distributed computing, AWS certifications.
