Job Description: 

We’re looking for data-driven, analytical Polytechnic Graduates to join our Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) – Banking Operations Apprenticeship Programme. You’ll go through a 12-month learning and development journey across our Banking Operations function covering Lending & Liabilities operations, Payments and clearing Operations, shared utilities and outsourcing governance. The Banking Operations team sits within our Technology & Operations function.

What you’ll be doing

 

As part of our Wealth and Retail Banking Operations team, you’ll:

 

  • Assist in building a repository for all third-party outsourcing governance
  • Schedule risk assessments and continued compliance across all arrangements, tracking as necessary
  • Collect and store artefacts / documentation supporting each risk assessment
  • Apply data analytics techniques to consolidate and analyse client complaints and application requests
  • Present meaningful recommendations to senior stakeholders on differentiated handling in complaints resolution.

About the Apprenticeship Programme

 

During this learning journey, you will embark on two 6-month long rotations. You will be exposed to different projects and tasks, alongside structured training, mentorship and on-the-job learning. Through the programme, you’ll experience an incredible and varied global learning experience, which include:

  • Targeted online learning
  • Inspiring thought leadership speaker events

Eligibility

 

We welcome graduates from all Polytechnic Diploma disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience. You’ll also:

 

  • Have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore
  • Have a keen interest in Banking and Finance industry
  • Prior experience in data analytics and interpretation/ reporting and visualisation is advantageous
