The DevOps Engineer works with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing,
release and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably. The DevOps
Engineer will have a background in deployment, operations, and full-stack implementations. They will also
have experience programming in a high-level language such as Ruby, Ansible, Python, Java or other language to script installation, configuration, and provisioning. They will be providing continuous delivery solutions in
cloud environment and have experience with the core suite of tools used to manage different cloud providers.
The DevOps Engineer will establish and employ Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Jenkins.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• Possess a strong grasp of automation tools.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.

The successful candidate is expected to be an experienced DevOps Engineer with wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Technical knowledge in DBs like Mongo, Postgres.
• Shell scripts in Linux/Unix environment
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in modern DevOps - CI/CD, Containerization, Orchestration
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum-Kanban and related tools – JIRA, Confluence
• Hands-On expertise in CICD integration tools like ADO Pipelines, Sonarqube, Artifactory, Nexus, etc.
• Knowledge on test integration & automation tools.
• One of the config & IaaC management tools like Ansible, Puppet, etc.
• Hands-On knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent are plus
• Superior trouble shooting and analytical thinking skill
• Must have knowledge on networking, linux systems and modern application architecture
• Knowledge on real time monitoring & reporting tools like Datadog, Newrelic, Appdynamic, ELK
Other desired skills / knowledge:
• Data-analysis / machine learning concepts
• Some very basic knowledge of UI ( Angular/ React, HTML5, OpenFin ) and / or Java API designs
• Python programming

• Building container images as shippable artifacts. Experience in building container deployment strategy. Familiar with orchestration tools like Kubernetes, docker swarm, Nomad etc
• Cloud Technology
• Experience in designing and building application deployment solution in Cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP etc
• Configuration Management
• Good understanding on CM and establish and maintain consistency of performance, functional, and physical attributes of application and infrastructure. Experience with tools like Ansible is required.
