JOB SUMMARY
As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing delivery of high-quality, innovative products and solutions. Your role will involve strategic planning, technical leadership, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to drive the development of scalable and reliable systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Align technical solutions with strategic organisational goals and long-term vision.
• Lead and implement detailed technical solutions for complex, organization-wide projects including end-to-end holistic solution design (interfacing systems).
• Develop and drive technology strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Subdomain Tech Lead.
• Provide high-level analysis for planning, and initiatives implementation approaches.
• Expert in solution sizing, estimation, and project forecasting
• Support audit reviews and exercises.
• Drive RFP and vendor evaluation exercise along with PO to ensure SCB technical standards are met
• Act as a senior escalation point for technical issues.
• Promote engineering craftsmanship and drive strategic business value.
• Collaborate with PO and align technical solutions to support prioritized backlogs to deliver value driven capabilities.
• Oversee technical delivery and excellence across multiple squads or hives.
• Influence prioritization for technology backlog and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Certifications Relevant certifications in software development, project management, or Agile methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, Certified ScrumMaster)

• Proven experience in managing and delivering complex technical projects in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
• Capability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Specific examples of past project management successes, demonstrating effective leadership and delivery.
Technical Skills
• Strong engineering background with extensive experience in delivering high-quality technical solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to interact with APIs, databases, and other technical components.
• Proficiency in understanding code and its implications on the system, enabling effective technical conversations and decision-making.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Problem Solving
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills honed through years of practical experience in the field.
• Ability to think critically and make sound technical decisions under pressure.
• Experience in identifying, diagnosing, and addressing complex technical problems.
• Capability to balance short-term fixes with long-term solutions, leveraging past experiences to guide decisions.
Technical Aptitude
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in architecture.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions based on extensive industry experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control systems).
• Experience in setting up and maintaining engineering practices to high standards, with tangible examples from previous roles.
• Ability to drive technical conversations and provide mentorship based on a wealth of practical experience.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, crucial for effective interaction in an enterprise environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
