Job Summary

Strategy

•    Daily managing of the litigation cases 
•    Speaking with empanelled law firms regularly 

Business

•    Retail Banking

Processes

•    Daily managing of the litigation cases 
•    Speaking with empanelled law firms regularly 
•    Maintaining the tracker which must showcase the litigations in favour or against the Bank
•    Product and process knowledge to handle Criminal, civil and consumer forum cases
•    Preferably from lew background

People & Talent

•    Daily managing of the litigation cases 
•    Speaking with empanelled law firms regularly 
•    Maintaining the tracker which must showcase the litigations in favour or against the Bank
•    Product and process knowledge to handle Criminal, civil and consumer forum cases
•    Preferably from lew background
•    Must be flexible enough to travel and attend the court proceedings 

Risk Management

•    Must maintain the data confidentiality

Governance

•    Must govern the law firms who manages the litigations for the Bank, vetting of the complaint copies before submissions is mandate.

•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. •    Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Serve as a Director of the Board
•    Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)  

Skills and Experience

•    Handling litigation cases currently and hands on experience to Banks litigation Retail portfolio.

Qualifications

•    Law graduate preferably
