• Managing the full product release lifecycle, from concept feasibility to production launch, adhering to Ford's Global Product Development System (GPDS).
• Collaborating with suppliers, manufacturing, and testing teams to validate designs through CAE simulations, physical prototypes, and durability testing.
• Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to optimize manufacturability and assembly processes.
• Supporting integration of steering systems with chassis, powertrain, and software controls for seamless vehicle performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in steering systems design or release engineering within the automotive industry.

• Strong understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, FMVSS) and quality methodologies (APQP, PPAP).
