Key Responsibilities at Datadog

In this high-impact sales role, you'll own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts in Iberia:

  • Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running efficient, scalable sales processes to build robust pipelines.
  • Maintain, build, and own detailed relationship maps for your territory, including existing contacts and aspirational targets.
  • Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business, identifying cloud operation challenges and observability gaps.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with large enterprises by articulating value, ROI, and Datadog's competitive edge.
  • Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory for upsell opportunities.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when tackling challenges that require creative, non-traditional solutions.
  • Leverage intuitive sense of steps needed to close business and secure customer validation swiftly.

  • 5+ years of closing experience (mix of mid-market and enterprise field selling).
  • Proven success meeting/exceeding $1M+ direct sales goals with average deal sizes of $100k+.
  • Self-starter able to prospect and build pipeline independently using proven methodologies.
  • Experience at innovative SaaS or IT infrastructure tech companies (preferred).
  • Track record selling into Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos in competitive environments.
