Job Description

We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Specialist for our Smart Infrastructures Electrical Product Factory in Gebze. This role will be responsible for the strategic procurement tasks and also be a part of daily routine operations of Strategic Procurement.

What are my responsibilities?
Analyzing market trends, identify new suppliers, and implement category/sourcing strategies for optimal cost/value.
Selecting, evaluating, developing and managing key suppliers to establish long-term, collaborative relationships in order to foster innovation, ensure supply continuity.
Leading price/contract negotiations, managing risk, and securing favorable terms for complex components without compromising quality.
Analyzing spends and market trends to optimize procurement costs and driving cost savings through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies and value engineering.
Supporting digital transformation within procurement and leverage digital tools and AI usage for efficiency.
Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Finance, Quality, Order Processing and similar to align procurement with business goals, optimizing inventory, reducing lead times, and ensuring timely material delivery for manufacturing.
Proactively identifying supply chain risks and ensuring all procurement practices strictly meet safety, environmental, company policies and legal requirements.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in related fields.
Advanced level of written and spoken English. 
Advanced level of MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) for Data Analysis & Reporting.
Knowledge of SAP.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of Contracts and Risk Management.
Knowledge of global sourcing and sustainability practices is a plus.
