Role Overview

The Strategy Senior Manager - International Beverage role is a pivotal position within PepsiCo's Global Category & Corporate Strategy Team. Anchored in the International Beverages Strategy group, this role offers exposure across Global Foods Strategy and Corporate Strategy. As part of a lean, high-performing organization, you will tackle PepsiCo’s most complex problems with high-priority, high-value, and high-impact work. Key focus areas include overseeing enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, solving challenging business issues, identifying growth opportunities, and translating recommendations into executable plans. This position reports to strategy leadership and interacts directly with the Chairman, Senior Leadership, and Board of Directors.

Strategic Impact

You will contribute to four core areas: executing cross-enterprise initiatives, developing actionable solutions for critical issues, pinpointing future growth with capability-building focus, and acting as a thought partner for execution and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will drive strategic excellence through hands-on leadership. Responsibilities include translating business problems into structured projects led end-to-end, from hypothesis development to final deliverables. You will lead analytical workstreams, deconstructing issues and building strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks with minimal oversight. Demonstrate leadership by challenging the status quo, managing teams for timely delivery, and investing in direct reports' development via coaching and performance reviews.

Additional duties encompass building executive-ready materials, assisting in enterprise projects like Strategic Planning and PepsiCo Growth Model, executing time-sensitive Executive Committee requests, providing thought partnership on diverse topics, maintaining an external mindset on trends, and contributing to Global Strategy capability building in recruiting, training, and knowledge management.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates need a minimum Bachelor's degree, with an MBA strongly preferred. Require 5+ years of strategy experience from a top-tier management consulting firm or CPG sector. A strategic mindset is essential, with the ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks. Excellent technical skills are needed to coach teams on error-free data processing of large volumes.

Proven experience independently running projects and managing teams is critical. High Emotional Intelligence, superior verbal and written communication to influence senior leaders, and the ability to 'manage up' are non-negotiable. A passion for Consumer Packaged Goods, PepsiCo brands, global outlook, cultural sensitivity, and foreign language skills are highly desired.
