Overview of position
Working independently and as part of group of Agile Scrum teams in the EU, US and worldwide that applies advanced testing methodologies to improve software quality, including functional, application, regression and performance testing.
You will be a member of EDM team
Our team’s responsibility is to deliver excellent quality software. A significant part of our job is to write and maintain automated tests in the PySilk/TestFarm environment. This framework is written in Python and is using Pywinauto module. We are looking for somebody who is quality focused with good Python skills, who is open to learn and then implement good testing practices.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated engineer with excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully interact with fellow team members and developers on a daily basis.
What will you be doing?
- Creating new python automated tests based on the given test plan
- Taking the role of the team player: there will be more people like you!
- Cooperating with Senior Developers/QAs on the automation development roadmap
- Supporting development teams in test automation
- Maintaining python libraries that are shared with other teams
What do you need to succeed?
- Student of degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics or other related discipline, able to commit 20-40h/week for this job
- Conversational English
- Eligibility to work legally in Poland without immigration support
- Attention to details and high-quality work
- You should be familiar with Python on the practical level – the rest you can learn with us!
- C++ and Java are a plus
- Willingness to work independently and as part of the team
SSP Poland 2025, conditions & eligibility
Siemens Strategic Student Program (SSP) in Poland for a Internship. You may also have the opportunity to write your bachelor’s or master’s thesis in cooperation with Siemens EDA.
Internships are paid – both during the summer and the extended periods.
Eligibility
• You must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate.
• International students must have a valid visa and/or work permit. Please note that Siemens does not provide support for visa or permit processes.
How long will the internship last? – 11 months with a possibility to be converted into a permanent position with Siemens.
The salary range for this position is 55,000 PLN to 56,000 PLN annually. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers health and wellness benefits to employees.
